Pastor and Mrs. Shafer are native New Englanders from the Ledyard, Connecticut area. Colchester Bible Baptist Church in Colchester, CT is their home church and where they were saved. They love living and ministering in New England where our wonderful American and Christian history and heritage reside. Pastor Shafer is a 1987 graduate of Practical Bible Training School in Johnson City, New York . It was there where he learned the art of expository Preaching of the Bible. The Shafers have previously ministered in churches in upstate New York, Vermont, and Connecticut. Tabernacle Baptist is Pastor Shafer’s fourth church.
The Shafers have 3 children and 4 grandchildren.
